There was an old lady from Delhi who yearned to see Hazur Saheb Darbar, but had no one from her own family to accompany her. Ultimately, one day she decided to leave by Punjab Mail from Delhi Station all alone, entrusting everything to Waheguru. She knew that this train would take her only up to Manmad. She reached Manmad Station the next day at midnight, to a very deserted place, one with a fearful reputation of being infested with dacoits. She sat in a corner on a bench and prayed. After a little while, she saw a young boy of 25 or 30 years of age coming towards her. This Sikh boy’s face was illuminated and radiated such bliss that she felt she could immediately trust him and narrated her whole story. He told her not to worry and that a train would be on its way that would take her straight to Nanded and he would help her get onto it. Once on the train he handed a ticket to her and instructed other passengers to help the old lady alight at Nanded. In the morning when she got down, there was the Gurudwara bus waiting in which she came straight to Sachkhand Darbar. Seeing Babaji over there, she was astonished as he was the same boy who had guided her at Manmad. As soon as Babaji came out, she held his lotus feet tight and cried. When all others in the Gurudwara took her to Langar, she told everyone what had happened and how Babaji had helped her reach Sachkhand.
One morning at two o’clock, when Babaji was supposed to wake up to leave for his usual Sewa, he did not do so in spite of Sadhu Singh and Bade Babaji’s attempts to awaken him. When there were just ten minutes left, Babaji woke up with a start and soon left for his Sewa. Two days later people from Aurangabad arrived at Hazur Saheb. They came up to the boonga and one of them asked Sadhu Singhji when did Babaji return from Aurangabad. He was told that Babaji was here all the time and had not gone anywhere. But the visitor replied to his astonishment that Babaji was with them two days back, when some misfortune had befallen on them. In such mysterious ways Babaji secretly helped his devotees. Such occurrences were a daily feature of his life.
Babaji’s teacher left for his heavenly abode on 1st February 1970 and this anniversary was celebrated every year by Moni Babaji.
After a tour of Delhi and Punjab, when Babaji reached at Fatehgarh Saheb, Sant Balwant Singhji asked Babaji to speak to Sangat and break his silence for the benefit of masses, which Babaji aptly did. He spoke after 36 years.
On his return from Delhi there was a Muslim officer who was seated in the same coach of the train. He kept staring at Babaji and asked Babaji’s brother, Sardar Kanchan Singhji about him. The officer said he was coming back from a pilgrimage of Mecca. While leaving for the pilgrimage he had a deep desire, to see God. And he said with tears trickling down from his eyes, that he had seen Moni Babaji there at Mecca. He lovingly presented a string of beads to Babaji which is still kept in “Waheguru Niwas”, Sindhi Colony, Nanded.
